THE MAGIC FLUTE FOR CHILDREN
ZAUBERFLÖTE FÜR KINDER
Am Tag nach dem Opernball - dem 28. Februar 2014- fand in der Balldekoration zweimal die ZAUBERFLÖTE FÜR KINDER statt.In dieser eigens für diese Veranstaltung konzipierten, einstündigen und kindgerechten Fassung der Mozart-Oper können Schulklassen aus ganz Österreich (in Summe 7.000 Kinder) in die Welt der Oper eintauchen.
Diese Veranstaltung ist exklusiv für neun- und zehnjährige Kinder, die kostenlos an diesen Vorstellungen teilnehmen können.
THE MAGIC FLUTE FOR CHILDREN
The day after the Opera Ball – 13 February 2015 – two performances of THE MAGIC FLUTE FOR CHILDREN took place amid the ball decorations. In this one-hour children’s version of the Mozart opera, conceived specifically for this event, school children from all over Austria (7,000 in all) can dip into the world of opera. We are singing the "Comenius Hymn" - composed by Jean-Georges Schielé
On our "Open House"-Day (4th of October 2013) we presented the "Comenius Hymn". It was a great honor having the composer among us.

Children of our school are playing the fairy tale of the rabbit and the hedge hog: "Der Hase und der Igel".
The melody of the songs is taken from the song "Der Kuckuck und der Esel". Enjoy!!!
